PHEW! We’ve been on one whirlwind of an adventure scouting out the latest and greatest gear for outdoor families. 2 weeks ago, we attended the Outdoor Retailer show in Salt Lake and last weekend, we got to go to the SIA show here in Denver. In a nutshell – WOW! There is so much cool gear for families and kids coming out this year and we are so excited about it all. Here are some of our favorites:
Deuter Kiki kids backpack
It really is just as cute in person
Snow Dragons Foxy Rainbow Plaid Coat
Loved the rainbow zipper and fun colors
Bergans Hodlekve Freeride Line
It’s got the very best that a one-piece and two-piece snowsuit can offer (true story)
Snowstoppers eMitt Flip-Top Mitten
These reminded me of my favorite glove/mitten combo from college. Great idea!
Deuter Little Star EXP Sleeping Bag
Designed to actually grow with your kids so they always have the correct size of bag.
Use the handy flexible tripod to mount this flashlight practically anywhere. I can think of about a zillion uses for this…
Grizzly Flower Power Sleeping Bag
An outdoor sleeping bag that little girls will be thrilled to take to a sleepover too!
Grand Trunk Micro Stool
Super tiny stool that still holds up to 250 pounds. Yes, that is a pen next to it. It’s tiny, hence the name Micro! Go ahead, fight your kids for it.
Northside Becka Boots
Lucky day – these are for women!
IBEX Wool-air mittens
Wool lined gloves that are super thin and cozy (without the typical mitten bulk)
OUR KIDS TOP PICKS
Atomic Piste Jr skis
Mason especially loved the flying monsters (or were they aliens?)
Rossignol Princess Skis
All the ski every little girl could ever want!
Outdoor Alphabet Onesies
Could these get any cuter. Buy a few dozen and give them to all your outdoor friends when they have kids (that is, if you can part with them)
What gear are you most excited to get your hands on? I know, decisions like this are HARD!
